Product Care Guide
Keep your night light glowing beautifully for years to come
Our night lights are designed to be low-maintenance, but a little care keeps them looking and glowing their best. Follow these simple tips to protect the finish, the light, and any delicate glass or mirror elements.
Placement
- Stable surface: Place on a flat, steady surface like a nightstand, desk, or shelf where it won't be easily knocked over.
- Away from water: Keep electrical and battery components away from sinks, humidifiers, and damp areas.
- Out of direct sun: Prolonged direct sunlight can fade colors and affect glass or mirror finishes over time.
- Within reach of power: For USB models, place near an outlet or power bank. For battery models, choose a spot where you can easily access the battery compartment.
Cleaning
- Power off first: Always switch off and unplug (or remove batteries) before cleaning.
- Soft, dry cloth: Gently wipe the surface and any glass dome or mirror panels with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- No harsh cleaners: Avoid water, sprays, alcohol, or solvents directly on electrical parts. For stubborn marks on glass, use a barely-damp cloth on the glass only, then dry completely.
- Dust regularly: A quick dusting every couple of weeks keeps the glow bright and the finish clear.
Power & Battery Care
- USB models: Use a standard USB power source. Avoid yanking the cable — unplug gently by the connector.
- Battery models: Use fresh batteries of the correct type. Remove batteries if you won't be using the light for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Don't mix: Avoid mixing old and new batteries, or different battery brands, in the same unit.
Handling Glass & Delicate Parts
- Lift glass-dome and crystal-ball lights from the base, not by the glass, to avoid pressure on delicate joints.
- For DIY kits, handle petals and small parts gently during and after assembly — adhesive needs time to fully set.
- Keep delicate models out of reach of young children and pets.
